Light - It can grow indoors close to a sunny window or year around in outdoors with warmer climate. Care - Fertilizing a bonsai is essential to its health because the nutrients in the soil leave very quickly with water. Use an organic liquid or chemical fertilizer diluted to one half strength. As ficus is fast grower, prune back 2-4 leaves after 6-10 leaves have grown. Note- As per growth stage plants may be less or more bushy

Keep plants in medium-light locations, out of direct sunlight. Natural light is best, but some plants can also thrive in office fluorescent light. Plant soil should be kept moist at all times. Be careful to avoid over-watering. Do not allow plants to stand in water. Avoid wetting plant leaves excessively. A spray of water should help in the case of flowering plants. Plants should be kept in a cool spot (between 18-28 degrees Celsius). Remove waste leaves and stems from time to time.
